The mile grid
Major roads divide the town into squares about a mile across. It is a strong, regular framework that gives the whole print its structure.

Te mapa
Queen Creek sits at the southeastern edge of the Phoenix metro area, straddling Maricopa and Pinal counties. Like much of the Valley, its map is organised around a grid of major roads spaced about a mile apart. Inside each square, residential streets form their own loops and curves, creating a repeated pattern of distinct neighbourhoods.
The town's roots are agricultural, and farms such as Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill still reflect that heritage. Growth over recent decades has turned much of the former farmland into housing, but open patches remain between the newer subdivisions.
To the south and west rise the San Tan Mountains, where the grid stops and desert takes over. A Queen Creek map poster captures that moment of transition, with orderly squares of streets pressing up against the rugged, unbuilt terrain of the mountains.

Inside each square, residential streets curve and loop in their own way, giving every section of the map a different texture.
To the south, the grid stops at the foot of the San Tan Mountains, where rugged desert terrain replaces the streets.

Koteā ko Queen Creek
The print suits families who have moved to Queen Creek, people who remember when it was still mostly farmland, and anyone who likes the graphic quality of the Arizona road grid. It makes a thoughtful housewarming gift.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a neighbourhood name or move-in date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the desert setting.
