Rabwah, officially renamed Chenab Nagar, is a town in Chiniot District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It was founded after 1947 on barren land by the Chenab River as a planned settlement. It served as the headquarters of the Ahmadiyya community, and it is still closely associated with the community today.
Because the town was planned, its map is more regular than those of the older market towns around it. Streets follow broad blocks and several clear main roads. The Chenab passes nearby, and low rocky hills rise around the site, some of the few relief features on the flat Punjab plain. Irrigated farmland covers much of the surrounding countryside.
