Te mapa
Rewāri is in southern Haryana, on the flat plain southwest of Delhi, within the wider National Capital Region. On a map the town has a dense older core of narrow lanes and bazaars. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward along main roads, and railway lines converge on the town from several directions.
Rewāri has been an important railway junction since the nineteenth century. Its old steam locomotive shed now serves as a heritage museum, one of the few places in India where working steam engines are kept. The town is also known for brass and metalwork, and it has historical links with Rao Tula Ram, a leader in the 1857 uprising.
A Rewāri map poster shows the railway lines meeting like spokes at the junction, the tight old town beside them and the grid of later development extending into the countryside. Highways toward Delhi, Jaipur and other cities complete the picture of a town that has long been a crossroads.
Several rail lines converge on Rewāri, meeting at the junction like spokes of a wheel and shaping how the rest of the town grew around them.
The former steam locomotive shed near the station is preserved as a heritage site where steam engines are maintained, an unusual survival in India.
The historic centre is a dense tangle of narrow lanes and market streets, known for traditional brass and metalwork, contrasting with the newer grid beyond.

Koteā ko Rewāri
Rewāri is home to many families in southern Haryana, a hometown for people now working in Gurugram or Delhi and a destination for railway enthusiasts. A map of its lines and lanes captures that story.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, in Hindi or English. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the railway lines particularly well.
