Streets shaped by hills
The town is laid out on uneven ground, so its roads curve and branch rather than forming a neat grid. The result is an irregular pattern that looks almost hand-drawn when printed.

Te mapa
Rio Branco do Sul sits in the hilly country north of Curitiba, in the Brazilian state of Paraná. From above, the town has no single rigid grid. Its streets follow the land, climbing short slopes and curving around valley floors, so the built area looks like a loose cluster stretched between higher ground. Around the edges the pattern thins quickly into rural roads and open land.
The municipality belongs to the metropolitan region of Curitiba, and it is best known for limestone. Quarrying and the lime and cement industry have long shaped the local economy, and the extraction sites show on the map as larger clearings with their own access roads. Next to the tighter blocks of the town centre they add a different, more angular texture, a reminder that the ground here is worked as well as lived on.
A Rio Branco do Sul map poster turns this mix into a quiet study in line and space. Short residential streets gather in the centre, longer roads leave for neighbouring towns and the state capital, and small watercourses cut shallow paths through the valleys. In black and white the terrain comes through indirectly, in the way the roads have to bend, fork and double back to get anywhere.
The town is laid out on uneven ground, so its roads curve and branch rather than forming a neat grid. The result is an irregular pattern that looks almost hand-drawn when printed.
The area is known for limestone extraction and the lime and cement industry. Quarry areas and their service roads form broad, geometric shapes that contrast with the finer residential blocks.
Longer routes leave the compact centre and run south toward the Curitiba metropolitan area. On the poster they read as clear threads connecting the town to the wider region.
