Te mapa
Saint-Brieuc, the prefecture of the Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany, stands on a plateau above the bay that shares its name. Two steep river valleys, the Gouët and the Gouédic, cut into the plateau on either side of the centre. They give the town an unusual outline on the map, a raised core bordered by green ravines.
The old centre gathers around the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne, a heavy, fortified-looking church from the Middle Ages. Around it, narrow streets wind before opening onto later boulevards. To the north the Gouët runs down to the port of Le Légué, where the valley widens toward the sea.
A Saint-Brieuc map poster shows how much the landscape dictates the street plan. Viaducts and bridges carry roads and the railway across the valleys, and the bay opens broadly to the north. It's a map where the terrain can be read from the streets alone.
Two deep, wooded valleys curve around the town centre, leaving clear gaps in the street pattern that read as green corridors on the map.
To the north the land opens onto a wide bay on the Channel coast, with the port of Le Légué at the mouth of the Gouët valley.
Roads and the railway cross the valleys on long bridges, thin straight lines that stitch the plateau neighbourhoods back together.

Koteā ko Saint-Brieuc
For people from the Côtes-d'Armor, or anyone who has walked down to the port through the valley, Saint-Brieuc's shape is easy to recognise. The poster turns that ground into a calm, legible picture.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a Breton place name or a date. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and Paper suits the old centre well.
