Shehera is a town in the Panchmahal district of eastern Gujarat, not far from Godhra. It stands on largely level agricultural land, and its layout reflects that: a close-knit older core of lanes and small plots, with the main roads leading out towards neighbouring towns and villages.
From above, the pattern is clear. Denser streets gather around the centre, newer housing extends along the approach roads, and field boundaries surround the whole town in a patchwork. Village ponds and seasonal water bodies, common across this part of Gujarat, add rounded shapes to the otherwise angular grid of plots.
