Te mapa
Smyrna lies in Cobb County, just northwest of Atlanta and inside the arc of the city's main highway system. The terrain is rolling Piedmont country, and the street plan reflects it: a small historic grid near the railroad gives way to winding residential roads that follow ridges and creeks, laid out as the city grew through the twentieth century.
Smyrna is known as the Jonquil City, a nickname that comes from the yellow flowers long planted around town. Its redeveloped civic centre, Market Village, gathers shops, a library and community buildings around a central green. The Cumberland area with the Atlanta Braves' ballpark sits close by on the eastern side.
A Smyrna map poster shows a typical Atlanta-area pattern drawn with particular clarity. The railway and main roads run diagonally through the city, older blocks line up neatly near the centre, and the neighbourhoods beyond curl into loops and cul-de-sacs, with tree-lined creeks threading between them. The wider highways mark the edges in bold lines.
Smyrna's modern civic centre, with its library, community buildings and green, sits near the historic rail corridor and gives the map a clear, recognisable heart.
The railroad and principal streets run diagonally across the city, shaping the original town and guiding growth outward toward Atlanta and the rest of Cobb County.
Residential streets curve around hills and creeks in the rolling Piedmont landscape, giving large parts of the poster soft, irregular linework and a lot of visual depth.

Koteā ko Smyrna
Smyrna is home to many who commute into Atlanta but put down roots in Cobb County. A map of the city marks where life actually happens, from the Saturday market to the neighbourhood street, and makes a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Set your own title and subtitle, such as a family name and the year you bought your house, adjust the coordinates, and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white keeps the winding streets crisp.
