Te mapa
Temecula sits in southwestern Riverside County, where Murrieta Creek and Temecula Creek meet to form the Santa Margarita River. On a map the confluence reads as a pale ribbon of floodplain along the western edge of town, with Interstate 15 tracing a firm diagonal beside it. Old Town Temecula clusters on the creek side of the freeway, a short grid of blocks that predates everything around it.
East of the interstate the pattern changes. Curving subdivision streets fill the valley floor, looping around cul-de-sacs and small parks, before thinning out into the long straight lines of Rancho California Road and the wine country beyond. There the map turns sparse: vineyard parcels, winding drives and scattered estates, a quiet counterweight to the dense residential pattern closer to the freeway.
The city was incorporated in 1989, but the name and the stagecoach-era Old Town reach back much further. Today it is best known for its wineries and for the hot-air balloons that rise over the vineyards on clear mornings. A Temecula map poster captures both halves of that identity, the tidy suburban lattice and the open, rolling ground where the roads start to follow the land.
Murrieta and Temecula creeks join near the western edge of the city to become the Santa Margarita River, a soft channel of open ground that divides the map in a gentle curve.
A compact cluster of short, straight streets beside the interstate marks the historic core, its small scale easy to pick out against the looping residential streets that surround it.
East of the city, long rural roads cross rolling land dotted with vineyards, their lines spreading wider apart and giving the edge of the poster an open, airy texture.

Koteā ko Temecula
For people who live here, married among the vines or spent weekends in wine country, the map is a quiet reminder of a particular valley and its light. The contrast between the dense suburban streets and the open eastern hills gives the print a natural sense of depth on a wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a wedding date or a family name, and choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital HD files cost $9, or you can order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
