Slopes of Vesuvius
The town rises on the volcano's flank, and the way streets thin out uphill gives the poster a clear sense of the mountain even in simple line work.

Te mapa
Terzigno lies on the lower slopes of Mount Vesuvius, on the side facing inland toward the Sarno plain. On a map the town spreads in a loose pattern of streets across rising ground, with roads fanning out toward neighbouring towns around the volcano. Uphill, the streets thin out and give way to vineyards, woodland and the protected land of Vesuvius National Park.
Part of the municipality lies within the national park, and the volcanic soil has long supported vineyards and orchards. In the 1980s and 1990s, excavations at nearby quarries uncovered the remains of Roman villas buried by the eruption of AD 79, the same event that destroyed Pompeii. Those finds connect Terzigno to one of the best-known moments in ancient history.
A Terzigno map poster works well with enough frame to show the mountain's influence. The streets are denser at the foot of the slope and sparser higher up, while roads curve around the volcano rather than climbing straight. In black and white, the pattern suggests Vesuvius even without contour lines, a quiet portrait of a town living beside a volcano.
The town rises on the volcano's flank, and the way streets thin out uphill gives the poster a clear sense of the mountain even in simple line work.
Above the built-up area, cultivated land and woodland lead into Vesuvius National Park, forming a quiet, open zone at the top of the composition.
Main roads curve around the base of Vesuvius to link Terzigno with neighbouring towns, drawing long arcs that frame the settlement.
