Te mapa
Tigard is a suburban city in Washington County, Oregon, just south-west of Portland. Major routes frame its map: Interstate 5 on the east, Oregon Route 217 cutting through the middle, and Highway 99W running diagonally toward the Willamette Valley. Between them lies a mix of curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and commercial strips.
Green corridors give the plan its softer lines. Fanno Creek winds through the city with a trail and parks along its banks, and the Tualatin River forms part of the southern boundary, where Cook Park stretches along the water. The Tigard map poster brings these together, with the slopes of Bull Mountain rising to the west.
The city takes its name from Wilson M. Tigard, one of the settlers who arrived in the area in the nineteenth century, and it was incorporated in 1961. Its small historic downtown on Main Street sits beside a stop on the WES commuter rail line.

Fanno Creek and its trail wind through the city in a green ribbon. It softens the suburban street pattern and links several parks.
The Tualatin River curves along the southern boundary, with Cook Park on its bank. It gives the lower part of the map a gentle, natural edge.
