Te mapa
Tlapa de Comonfort is the main town of La Montaña, the mountainous eastern region of Guerrero. It sits on a valley floor, and from above it looks like a small, dense cluster of streets surrounded by rugged terrain. Beyond the edge of town the roads thin out quickly, becoming a few routes that follow the valleys towards other mountain communities.
The town serves as a commercial and administrative centre for a wide area with a large Indigenous population, including Mixtec, Nahua and Tlapanec communities. That role shows on the map. The centre is a tight grid around the main square, and newer neighbourhoods spread outward to wherever the land is flat enough to build.
A Tlapa de Comonfort map poster shows a town shaped by its setting. The streets try to be regular but bend where the valley narrows. Channels of water cross the urban area, and the surrounding blank space speaks of the mountains that define life here. It is a modest, honest portrait of a place that matters a great deal to its region.
The historic core forms a tight grid around the main plaza, the densest part of the map and the point where regional roads meet.
The town fills a valley floor, so its outer neighbourhoods spread along flat ground and stop where the slopes begin to rise steeply.
Only a few routes leave town, and they twist along the valleys towards La Montaña's scattered villages, thin lines across open paper.

Koteā ko Tlapa de Comonfort
For families from La Montaña, including many who now live far away, Tlapa is the town of market days and family visits. A poster keeps that place present in a home somewhere else, in a way that is simple and respectful.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a family name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
