Te mapa
Walnut Grove is a residential community in the Township of Langley, in the Fraser Valley east of Vancouver. It developed mostly in the late twentieth century, and on the map it shows that clearly: curving collector roads, crescent-shaped streets and cul-de-sacs, with parks and school grounds placed throughout the neighbourhoods.
Highway 1 runs along one side, and the Fraser River lies a short distance to the north, beyond farmland and the old river communities. Ravines and creek corridors lined with trees run through the suburb as irregular green strips. A Walnut Grove map poster shows how those natural lines weave through a planned, family-oriented layout.
The community is known locally for its schools, sports fields and quiet streets. From above, that translates into a soft, looping street pattern, frequent open spaces and a clear edge where suburb gives way to rural Langley.
Looping crescents and cul-de-sacs define the residential blocks, forming intricate curved shapes that fill the centre of the map.
Wooded ravines and creeks run between neighbourhoods, bringing irregular green lines into the planned suburban pattern.
The Trans-Canada Highway runs along the community's edge, a long straight line that frames the softer streets beside it.
