West Lake Stevens is a community in Snohomish County, Washington, on the western side of Lake Stevens and east of Everett. The lake sets the tone of the map. Its shoreline forms a clear, rounded edge on one side, and residential streets fill the land that rises westward toward the Snohomish River valley.
The street pattern is typical of Puget Sound suburbs. Winding roads and cul-de-sacs fit into rolling ground that was once forest, and a few straighter arterials link them together. Patches of woodland and small creeks remain between neighbourhoods, which gives the map a green, broken texture instead of a continuous built-up area.
