Te mapa
Winchester is an unincorporated town in Clark County, run by the county rather than by a city of its own. It covers a slice of the Las Vegas Valley close to the north end of the Strip. On a map it is almost entirely grid: broad main roads spaced about a mile apart, with each square filled by its own pattern of smaller streets.
Inside those squares the texture changes from block to block. Older mid-century neighbourhoods have straight residential streets, while later developments turn inward with curving lanes, cul-de-sacs and single entrances. Large parcels for resorts and parking appear as blank or heavily outlined shapes. The drawing shifts between fine lacework and broad, empty rectangles across the whole sheet.
A Winchester map poster shows the Las Vegas area from a less familiar angle, away from the postcard skyline and closer to where people live and work. In plain lines, the orderly desert grid becomes a graphic study of repetition and variation. The freeway and the Strip's large resort footprints mark the western side of the town.
Main roads run north–south and east–west at roughly one-mile intervals. They divide the town into large squares that give the whole map its steady, measured rhythm.
Within the squares, many neighbourhoods curl around cul-de-sacs and loops with few ways out. From above, these small self-contained patterns read almost like fingerprints.
Toward the Strip, resort complexes and car parks fill big blocks with few internal streets. They leave bold open shapes against the denser residential grid.

Koteā ko Winchester
Many people in Las Vegas say they live in the city when their address is actually Winchester, and a map is a quiet way to mark the real place. It suits locals, former residents and anyone whose working life revolved around the resorts and the valley's long straight roads.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be changed, so the poster can read Winchester, Las Vegas or the name of your street. Pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Then download 300 DPI files or order a print.
