Te mapa
Zibo is an unusual city to map because it has no single core. Instead, several district centres, including Zhangdian, Zichuan, Boshan, Zhoucun and Linzi, are spread across a broad area of central Shandong, each with its own cluster of streets. Between them lie farmland, industrial zones and long connecting roads, so the city reads as a constellation rather than a single block.
The northern districts sit on relatively flat ground, where streets fall into broad, regular grids. To the south the land rises into hills, and Boshan occupies a narrower valley where roads have to follow the terrain. The difference between the open plain and the folded hills is one of the clearest features of the map.
Linzi was the capital of the ancient state of Qi, and the region has long been known for ceramics and glass. More recently the city drew national attention for its barbecue culture. A Zibo map poster shows a place shaped by several towns growing toward each other, a pattern common in industrial China but rarely seen so clearly.
The main administrative centre has the densest and most regular street grid, with wide avenues that form the backbone of the modern city.
In the south, Boshan's streets follow a valley between hills, giving the map a looser, more organic texture than the grids of the northern districts.
The district on the site of the old Qi capital sits to the east, a separate cluster of streets on the plain that recalls the area's long past.

Koteā ko Zibo
Zibo's scattered form makes it a good choice for someone who knows the city from the inside, who travels between Zhangdian and Boshan or grew up in one district and worked in another. A map shows how those places fit together.
Add a title and subtitle in your own words, include a date or coordinates, and choose one of five styles. Paper and Sand give a softer, archival feel, while Noir gives the separate districts a darker, more dramatic finish.
