Chapecó River falls
The river winds past the town and breaks into falls and rapids. On the poster, its curving course is the most organic line in the composition.

关于地图
Abelardo Luz Map Poster & Print
Abelardo Luz lies on the plateau of western Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, close to the Paraná state border. The town is known for the waterfalls of the Chapecó River, which runs past it and forms a series of falls and rapids that draw visitors from the region.
On a map, the urban area forms a fairly regular grid on relatively open ground, with the river curving close by. Beyond the town, the landscape is dominated by agriculture, and the roads and field boundaries create long, straight lines across the plateau. The contrast between the orderly town, the meandering river and the geometric farmland gives the area a clear structure.
An Abelardo Luz map poster brings out that contrast. The river's winding course is the most expressive line, set against the steady grid of the town and the open rural roads beyond. It is a composition that reflects both the natural feature the town is known for and the farming that shapes its surroundings.

Plateau farmland
Around the town, rural roads cross open agricultural land in long straight lines, extending the geometry of the grid into the countryside.
