The frontier edge
The border with Algeria runs close to the town's eastern side. It gives the map a sharp boundary, and the street network ends there.

关于地图
Ahfir Map Poster & Print
Ahfir lies in Morocco's Oriental region, on the border with Algeria. It is a short distance inland from the Mediterranean coast near Saïdia. On a map the town is a compact grid pressed against the frontier. The main road runs through it, and neighbourhoods spread out onto the plain and the low ground around it.
Just east of the town, the border follows the course of the Oued Kiss, a small river that runs north to the sea. The low ranges of the Beni Snassen massif rise to the west. Because of this setting, Ahfir's map has a clear edge on one side, a river and a national boundary, while it opens up on the others.
An Ahfir map poster shows a town defined by its position: tight streets, a river valley at its edge, and hills in the distance. It is a small, dense composition that gains meaning from where it sits in the landscape, at the meeting point of two countries.

Oued Kiss valley
The small river that forms the border runs north toward the Mediterranean. Its winding course adds a soft, natural line beside the town grid.
Beni Snassen foothills
West of the town the ground rises toward the Beni Snassen hills. In a wider frame, roads become sparse and follow the slopes.
