Main-line railway
The Delhi–Mumbai rail line runs past the town in a long straight stroke, a strongly geometric element in an otherwise organic layout.

关于地图
Alot Map Poster & Print
Alot is a town in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, on the Malwa plateau in the west of the state. On a map it forms a compact, irregular cluster of lanes and small blocks, with a handful of main roads leaving the centre toward nearby towns and villages. The land around it is level and open, divided into large farm plots.
Alot lies on the railway between Nagda and Kota, part of the long main line linking Delhi and Mumbai, and the track crosses the map as a long, confident stroke. Around it, Malwa's fertile black soils support farming, so the countryside is a patchwork of fields, tracks and small ponds spreading out in all directions.
An Alot map poster sets the dense town centre against two kinds of line: the straight rail corridor and the looser rural roads. It is a quiet, personal design that means the most to people from Alot and its surrounding villages, whether they still live nearby or have moved to larger cities.

为什么选Alot
一张有意义的地图
A map of Alot gives a small town the same careful treatment usually reserved for big cities. For families from Ratlam district, it is a way of marking where they come from in a form that is quiet and lasting.
You can replace the title and subtitle with your own words, perhaps a family name, and edit the coordinates line. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, each available as a digital download or a printed poster.
