Camanducaia River
The river curves through the town, and several streets follow its banks. Its line gives the composition a natural flow across the centre of the poster.

关于地图
Amparo Map Poster & Print
Amparo lies in the hilly interior of São Paulo state, in the Serra da Mantiqueira foothills. The town grew during the coffee era of the nineteenth century, and its historic centre still keeps many buildings from that period. On a map the streets adapt to the hills: some blocks keep a rough grid, while others curve with the slopes and the course of the Camanducaia River.
Amparo is part of the Circuito das Águas Paulista, a group of towns known for mineral springs, mild climate and green hills that draw weekend visitors from São Paulo and Campinas. Farms and patches of woodland surround the town, and country roads wind away between them.
An Amparo map poster brings out the character of a small hill town: a dense older core, a river bending through it and roads curving out into rolling countryside. It is quiet and detailed, like the place itself.

Historic centre
The coffee-era core has closely packed blocks around its main church and squares. It forms the densest part of the map and holds the eye.
Rolling hills
Outside the centre, roads bend around the hills and valleys of the water circuit. They create loose, curving lines toward the edges of the frame.
