关于地图
Armavir Map Poster & Print
Armavir lies in the east of Krasnodar Krai, on the left bank of the Kuban River, which runs along the western side of the city. The river valley forms a clear natural edge on the map, and from it the city spreads eastward across flat steppe land in a regular grid of long, straight streets and deep rectangular blocks.
The city was founded in 1839 by Circassian Armenians who settled here, and it takes its name from the ancient Armenian capital. In the late nineteenth century, the railway turned Armavir into an important junction and trading centre for the North Caucasus, and rail lines and yards still cut prominent paths through the urban area today.
An Armavir map poster shows a southern Russian city of clear structure: the curving river on one side, the orderly grid filling the plain, and the railway lines slicing through at an angle. In black and white, the pattern is precise and balanced, a map that reads well from across a room.

Regular grid
Long, parallel streets divide the city into deep rectangular blocks, a strong and orderly pattern that fills most of the poster.
Railway junction
Several rail lines and yards cross the city on diagonals, cutting through the grid and marking Armavir's long role as a transport hub.
