关于地图
Āsmār Map Poster & Print
Āsmār lies in Kunar Province in eastern Afghanistan, in the valley of the Kunar River. On a map the defining element is the terrain: the river runs through a narrow corridor with mountains rising sharply on both sides, and the settlement follows the flat land along the water. Roads keep close to the valley floor, and the built area thins quickly as the slopes steepen.
The Kunar valley is one of the main routes through this mountainous region, and towns like Āsmār developed where there was room for fields, homes and a road. The map reflects that constraint clearly, showing a linear place shaped by geography rather than planning.
An Āsmār map poster is a study in simplicity. With few streets and a strong river line, the image depends on the relationship between water and settlement, producing a composition that feels spare and deliberate. It is a quiet portrait of a place defined by its valley.

Valley road
A road tracks the river through the valley, connecting settlements along the corridor and forming the principal man-made line in the composition.
Mountain edges
Beyond the valley floor, the map becomes sparse, and the absence of streets marks the steep slopes that enclose the town on both sides.
