关于地图
Athi River Map Poster & Print
Athi River lies in Machakos County on the open plains south-east of Nairobi, and its map is organised by transport. The Mombasa Road runs through the area as a major artery, joined by the Standard Gauge Railway and older rail lines. The Athi River itself winds across the plains in a shallow, irregular course. Around these lines, housing estates, factories and warehouse plots fill the flat ground.
The town has grown as an industrial and residential overflow for the capital. It has an export processing zone, cement production and a steadily expanding population of commuters. It is part of the wider Mavoko area, and it faces open grassland that was traditionally grazing and wildlife country.
An Athi River map poster shows a place defined by movement and growth. Highway and rail corridors run across the frame, industrial blocks line them, residential estates fill in the space, and the river traces a soft line through it all. The wide open plains around the town give the composition space to breathe.

Athi River
The river that gives the town its name winds across the plains. Its irregular course contrasts with the straight transport corridors.
Industrial zones
Factories, warehouses and the export processing zone occupy large plots near the road and rail lines. They show up as broad rectangular shapes.

为什么选Athi River
一张有意义的地图
Many residents of Athi River built or bought their first home here while working in Nairobi. A map of the town marks that step clearly and personally. The mix of transport corridors and open plains suits the Classic and Blueprint styles.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with an estate name or a move-in year. Then choose from five styles. The $9 download includes 300 DPI PNG and PDF files in six sizes, and printed posters ship from partners in more than thirty countries.
