The through road
The route linking Elazığ and Malatya passes through Baskil and serves as its backbone. On the poster it is the strongest line, and the rest of the street pattern hangs from it.

关于地图
Baskil Map Poster & Print
Baskil is a district town in Elazığ province in eastern Turkey, west of the provincial capital and on the road toward Malatya. From above, it is a compact settlement on sloping upland ground. Its streets gently follow the contours of the land, and open, dry hills rise all around it.
The area is known across Turkey for its apricots. Baskil apricots are sold under the town's name, and orchards fill the land around the settlement. On a map these orchards appear as a finely divided zone of plots that encircles the built-up area. That makes the border between town and countryside soft rather than sharp.
A Baskil map poster shows a small town with a clear shape. The main road passes through, side streets branch uphill and downhill, and orchard parcels surround it all. The dry terrain beyond leaves a lot of empty space, which is why the design feels open and calm, with the town as a single, clear focus.

Apricot orchards
Orchard plots surround the town in a dense patchwork. The small, regular field divisions create a textured ring between the streets and the open upland.
Upland terrain
Beyond the orchards, the land opens into dry hills with few roads. The emptiness frames the town and gives the composition plenty of breathing space.
