Hardinge Bridge
The long steel railway bridge crosses the Padma in a series of spans, a straight line over wide water that is one of the most recognisable features of any map in the region.

关于地图
Bherāmāra Map Poster & Print
Bherāmāra is a town in Kushtia district, in Bangladesh's Khulna Division, on the southern bank of the Padma, the name the Ganges takes after it enters the country. The river dominates the map: a wide, braided channel with sandbars and shifting islands, beside which the town's streets and rail lines look slight and precise.
The town is best known as the southern end of the Hardinge Bridge, a steel railway bridge opened in 1915 that remains one of the most important crossings in the country. Beside it runs the Lalon Shah Bridge, a road bridge completed in 2004. Bherāmāra is also the site of a significant power station serving the regional electricity grid.
A Bherāmāra map poster frames the two bridges reaching across the river, the railway lines converging on them, and the town's compact grid of lanes on the bank. Few small towns have such a striking focal point, and the combination of broad water and fine engineering makes for a strong, graphic print.

Lalon Shah Bridge
Running close alongside, the road bridge named after the Baul poet and mystic Lalon, long associated with Kushtia, doubles the line across the river and gives the composition a strong parallel emphasis.
Padma chars
Sandbars and river islands, known locally as chars, shift across the channel from year to year, creating soft, irregular shapes that contrast with the straight engineering around them.

为什么选Bherāmāra
一张有意义的地图
For people from Kushtia and the surrounding districts, the bridges at Bherāmāra are a familiar part of travel north and a strong symbol of home. A map poster holds that image in a calm, graphic form that suits a modern interior.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add a family name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Blueprint in particular emphasises the engineering of the bridges and the pattern of the rail lines.
