Dense town core
The centre is a close weave of short streets and small blocks, much denser than the land around it. It makes a dark, compact heart at the middle of the print.

关于地图
Bījār Map Poster & Print
Bījār lies on a high plateau in Kurdistan Province in western Iran, surrounded by wide, treeless uplands. From above, the town reads as a dense, fairly compact knot of streets. Outside it, roads run long and straight across open country towards neighbouring towns and villages, and the contrast is sharp.
The name is known well beyond Iran because of the Bijar rug. These carpets are woven so tightly that they are often called the iron rugs of Persia. There is a fitting parallel on paper: a closely packed pattern of lanes and blocks, with the same density and firmness as the weave the town is famous for.
A Bījār map poster centres on that tight core and lets the plateau roads run out to the edges of the frame. The composition is quiet and balanced. Most of the ink sits in the middle, and a few confident lines lead away across the empty upland.

Plateau approach roads
Roads leave town in long, steady lines across the open upland, a reminder of how high and exposed the country around Bījār is.
Weaving town
Bījār lends its name to one of Persia's best-known carpet types, prized for its heavy, dense construction. That detail makes the map a natural companion to a rug-lover's interior.

为什么选Bījār
一张有意义的地图
A map of Bījār works for anyone with family roots in Iranian Kurdistan, and for collectors of Persian textiles who want the place behind the weave on the wall. The strong central mass holds its own even at larger sizes.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, for example with a surname or a meaningful year, and adjust the coordinates line. Sand and Paper sit warmly next to textiles. Noir turns the dense core into a pale web on a dark ground.
