Transport corridors
The toll road and railway linking Surabaya with Sidoarjo and the south pass through the area. They draw straight, continuous lines that cross the finer pattern of village streets.

关于地图
Buduran Map Poster & Print
Buduran is a district in Sidoarjo Regency in East Java, just north of Sidoarjo town on the flat plain that stretches south from Surabaya. From above it is a mixture of village clusters, small factory compounds and fields. A network of local roads and drainage channels ties them together and runs east toward the Madura Strait.
Major routes between Surabaya and the south pass through this stretch of the regency, among them the toll road and the main railway line. They draw long straight lines across an otherwise fine-grained pattern of settlement. Toward the coast east of the district, the land turns to aquaculture ponds, whose rectangular grid is a distinctive feature of the Sidoarjo shoreline.
A Buduran map poster shows a landscape shaped by its closeness to a large city: dense, irregular kampung streets, industrial plots and the straight lines of transport corridors. It is a portrait of the everyday ground between Surabaya and Sidoarjo, drawn with the same care as a famous capital would be.

Kampung streets
Residential neighbourhoods grow in irregular clusters of narrow lanes and alleys. In black and white they create a dense, organic texture that fills the spaces between the main roads.
Coastal fish ponds
East of the district, toward the Madura Strait, the Sidoarjo coast is lined with rectangular aquaculture ponds. A wider framing brings their geometric grid into the composition.

为什么选Buduran
一张有意义的地图
Buduran is home to many who work in Surabaya or in Sidoarjo's factories, and to others who grew up there before moving away. A map of the district is a specific, personal choice for a living room or office, showing the streets of one real place.
Every poster can carry your own title, subtitle and coordinates, in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 HD package includes six sizes, among them A3, A2 and 24×36″, each as PNG and PDF. Printed posters on matte paper can be framed in wood.
