关于地图
Carnaíba Map Poster & Print
Carnaíba is in the Pajeú region of Pernambuco's sertão, the semi-arid interior of northeastern Brazil. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets around a central square and church, with a regular grid that ends quickly. Beyond it, the dry caatinga scrubland takes over.
In this landscape, water shapes the map even when it is absent. Seasonal streams and dry riverbeds wind across the countryside, and small reservoirs and weirs appear as isolated shapes of water. Roads run straight out to nearby towns in the valley, and rural tracks spread in long, thin lines to farms and communities.
A Carnaíba map poster captures that balance: a small, orderly centre in a wide, open landscape. The Pajeú region is also known for its tradition of repentista poetry and cantoria, which gives the area a cultural weight far beyond its size.

Dry riverbeds
Seasonal streams wind across the surrounding caatinga. Their meandering lines show the shape of the land, even though they only run in the rainy season.
Reservoirs
Small reservoirs and weirs dot the countryside, adding scattered, irregular shapes that break up the open space around the town.

为什么选Carnaíba
一张有意义的地图
Many families from the Pajeú moved to Recife, São Paulo and beyond, and a Carnaíba map brings the home town back into view. Personalise the title with a name, a date or a line of verse, and add coordinates for the family house.
Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. For $9 you get six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs. A free 900 px watermarked preview is available, and printed posters can be ordered with an optional wooden frame.
