Main road spine
The principal road runs the length of the town, and most streets branch off it. This gives the poster a clear central axis for the composition.

关于地图
Çerkeş Map Poster & Print
Çerkeş is a district town in Çankırı Province, in the north of Central Anatolia, set among rolling hills and farmland. From above, the built-up area is compact and slightly elongated. The main streets follow the valley floor, and smaller lanes climb gently onto the slopes on either side. Fields and open ground come right up to the edge of town.
The town lies on a long-established east-west route across northern Anatolia, and the main road through it gives the map a clear spine. Around that line the street pattern is informal rather than gridded. There are irregular blocks, short connecting lanes and pockets of newer, more regular housing at the edges.
A Çerkeş map poster works through restraint. There is no dense tangle of city streets here, just a clear town shape against a wide, quiet landscape. The plan reads well even at a small print size and leaves room for the eye to rest.

Valley setting
The town sits on lower ground between hills, so the streets thin out as they reach the slopes. This leaves a crisp edge between built-up blocks and open land.
Irregular old blocks
Near the centre the blocks are uneven and the lanes are short. This finer, older texture contrasts with the straighter streets of newer neighbourhoods on the outskirts.
