Branching lanes
Narrow roads split and rejoin as they pass between house compounds, forming a network that looks almost like the veins of a leaf.

关于地图
Chevvoor Map Poster & Print
Chevvoor is a village in the Thrissur district of central Kerala, a short distance south of Thrissur town. Like much of the region, it does not have a single dense centre. Instead, houses are spread along lanes and roads, each set in its own garden among trees, and the settlement blends gradually into the surrounding farmland.
From above, this produces a soft, branching network rather than a grid. Roads follow slightly raised ground between low-lying paddy fields, and small ponds and channels appear among the plots. Temples and schools act as local reference points, though on a map it is the flowing line of the lanes that gives the place its identity.
A Chevvoor map poster captures this distinctly Keralan pattern of dispersed living. The lines are relaxed and organic, with open areas where fields lie between clusters of homes. It is a map that feels green even in black and white, and it suits anyone who knows the slow rhythm of village life in Thrissur district.
