关于地图
Chinguar Map Poster & Print
Chinguar lies in Bié Province, on the central highland plateau of Angola. The land here is high and open, with rolling terrain, farmland and patches of woodland, and the climate is milder than on the coast. The town is a local centre for the surrounding agricultural area.
Chinguar is on the route of the Benguela Railway, the long line that crosses Angola from the Atlantic port of Lobito into the interior. The railway strongly shapes the map. The line passes through the town, and the street pattern is organised around it, with a small grid of roads in the centre and a looser spread of housing and plots further out.
A Chinguar map poster captures a small plateau town defined by its link to a great railway. The straight line of the tracks crosses the frame, and the compact grid and sparse outer roads cluster beside it.

Central grid
The town centre has a modest grid of streets. It forms the densest part of the map and contrasts with the open land that surrounds it.
Plateau surroundings
Beyond the town, roads and tracks spread across farmland on the high plateau. The sparse lines at the edges convey the openness of central Angola.
