关于地图
Chinnavādampatti Map Poster & Print
Chinnavādampatti lies on the northern side of Coimbatore in western Tamil Nadu, one of the areas where the city has grown outward into former villages and farmland. The map shows the result: older lanes from the original settlement, newer layouts of plotted residential streets, and patches of open land still waiting between them.
Coimbatore is one of South India's major industrial cities, long known for textiles and engineering. The Western Ghats rise to its west, with the Nilgiris to the northwest. Main roads radiating from the city centre cross the northern suburbs and draw strong lines through the finer grain of the residential streets.
A Chinnavādampatti map poster captures a neighbourhood in transition. Planned layouts with regular blocks sit beside irregular village lanes, and the density changes from one corner of the frame to the next. For residents, it records a place that has changed quickly within living memory.
