The highway axis
The main road from Conakry runs straight through the town. Almost every neighbourhood connects back to this one strong line.

关于地图
Coyah Map Poster & Print
Coyah lies inland from Conakry in western Guinea, on the main road that leads from the capital toward the interior. From above, the town grows out along this highway. Neighbourhoods spread out from it in irregular patterns, climbing onto low green hills and gradually filling the valleys between them.
The landscape around it is humid and hilly, cut by streams and dotted with farms. As Conakry has grown, Coyah has become one of its fastest-expanding satellite towns, and new streets reach further into the surrounding countryside each year.
A Coyah map poster shows a town in the middle of change, with a strong central road, loosely organised new districts and a rolling landscape at the edges. The name is also familiar across Guinea from the mineral water bottled from local springs.

Hillside quarters
Streets spread out in irregular loops over the low hills. They give the map an organic, unplanned texture.
Green edges
Farmland, streams and wooded slopes surround the built-up area. On the map they soften the outline of the town.
