关于地图
Cubal Map Poster & Print
Cubal is a town in Angola's Benguela province, set inland from the coast on higher ground where the land rises toward the central plateau. From above, the town has a modest, spread-out shape. A central grid of streets surrounds the older commercial area, and newer neighbourhoods extend outward with looser, less regular patterns.
The Benguela Railway, which runs inland from the port of Lobito, passes through Cubal, and its long straight line is one of the clearest features of the map. Roads branch from the town into the surrounding farmland. Small rivers and streams cross the landscape, and the country around the town opens out into fields and scrub.
A Cubal map poster is a clear portrait of an Angolan inland town: railway, grid and surrounding country. It will mean most to people from Cubal and its region, and to those whose family history passes through here. The drawing is calm and uncluttered, and suits every one of the five styles.

Central grid
The older part of town has a regular pattern of blocks around its commercial streets. It forms the densest area of the map and a natural centre.
Open plateau
Beyond the town edge, farmland and scrub stretch out with only scattered tracks. This empty space frames the town and keeps the drawing airy.
