Curug Map Poster & Print
Curug is a district in Tangerang Regency, Banten, on the western edge of the Jakarta metropolitan area. It sits on low, flat land where rice fields and villages have steadily given way to housing estates, industrial sites and new roads. On a map, the result is a patchwork. Planned residential clusters with curving streets sit beside older, irregular kampung paths.
Curug has long been associated with aviation training. The Indonesian civil aviation training institute is based here, next to a small airfield whose runway appears as a clean straight line among the surrounding estates. Rivers flowing north toward the Java Sea cross the area and add winding lines through the grid.
A Curug map poster shows metropolitan growth in progress. It captures the contrast between the neat loops of gated estates, the looser village networks and the long bars of highways and the runway.
