Informal street pattern
The town's streets and compounds form an irregular, organic pattern that has grown over time, very different from grid-planned settlements.

关于地图
Diawala Map Poster & Print
Diawala lies in the far north of Ivory Coast, in the Savanes district, not far from the borders with Mali and Burkina Faso. The landscape here is open savanna, with scattered trees, seasonal streams and wide fields. On a map the town appears as an irregular cluster of streets and compounds, with roads leading away across flat, open land.
Agriculture shapes life in the region, and farmland surrounds the town in a loose pattern of fields and tracks. The rainy and dry seasons set the rhythm of work and travel, and watercourses that flow only part of the year appear as faint lines on the map.
A Diawala map poster is a quiet, open composition: a settled core surrounded by space. The pattern of the town reflects organic growth rather than a planned layout, and that informal texture gives the print its character. In black and white, the savanna becomes a calm field around the town.

为什么选Diawala
一张有意义的地图
For people from Diawala or the Savanes region living elsewhere, a map of the town is a simple and personal link to home. Its uncluttered form fits easily into a modern interior.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, with a family name or a date. Five styles are available, and Sand suits the savanna, while Noir turns the open land into a dark field.
