关于地图
Diré Map Poster & Print
Diré lies in the Tombouctou region of Mali, on the Niger River upstream of Timbuktu, in the area where the river spreads across the flat land of its inland delta and floodplain. On a map, water is the defining element: a broad channel, side branches and seasonal flooded land run close to the town.
Farming along the river, especially rice grown with the seasonal floods, has long supported the town and its surroundings. A Diré map poster shows that relationship directly. The streets gather on higher ground beside the water, and the land around them divides into riverside fields, channels and the drier Sahel beyond.
Rendered in black and white, the town becomes a dense cluster of small blocks and lanes, set against the smooth open shapes of water and floodplain. The composition is simple and strong, a settlement defined by its river in a landscape where the river determines almost everything.

Floodplain fields

Tight town core
Houses and lanes form a compact cluster on firmer ground, a dense shape set against the wide water and empty land around it.

为什么选Diré
一张有意义的地图
A Diré poster can hold memories of family, of the river and of life in the Sahel, especially for people who now live far away. Its strong outline and big areas of water make it a striking piece on any wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, and the map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files are delivered as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF in six sizes.
