关于地图
Embu Map Poster & Print
Embu lies on the southeastern slopes of Mount Kenya, the country's highest mountain. From above, the town is shaped by the landscape: roads follow the ridges, rivers and streams cut valleys between them, and the built-up area spreads along the main road as it climbs toward the mountain. Around it, small farms and fields cover the hillsides.
The town is the headquarters of Embu County and a commercial centre for the surrounding farming area. The fertile volcanic soils and highland rainfall support crops such as coffee, tea and a wide range of food crops. The forests of Mount Kenya lie above the town, and on clear days the peaks can be seen to the north.
An Embu map poster shows a town shaped by hills rather than a flat grid. The main road provides a clear axis, residential streets curve with the terrain, and the river valleys run through the map as soft, green lines. In monochrome, it has the character of a landscape drawing.

Ridges and valleys
Streams flowing down from the mountain have cut valleys between ridges, and the town's streets bend to follow them.
Farmland slopes
Around the town, the hillsides are divided into small farms and fields, forming a fine, irregular pattern of paths and plot boundaries.
