关于地图
Favara Map Poster & Print
Favara is a town in the province of Agrigento in southern Sicily, set on high ground a short distance inland from the coast. Its street map is dense and irregular, with narrow lanes and small courtyards packed closely together, a pattern shaped by centuries of building on uneven terrain.
At the centre is a main piazza with Castello Chiaramonte, a medieval castle built by the Chiaramonte family. In recent years the town has also become known for Farm Cultural Park, a contemporary art project set in the courtyards of the historic centre, which has drawn visitors to Favara.
From above, the old core appears as a tight knot of streets, surrounded by more regular modern blocks and roads leading out toward Agrigento and the countryside. A Favara map poster captures that compact, intricate centre and the landscape around it.

Courtyard quarter
The historic centre is made of small courtyards and alleys, the kind of fine-grained pattern that becomes intricate and absorbing on a large print.
Roads to Agrigento
Routes leading south toward Agrigento and the coast stretch out from the town, framing the dense centre within the open countryside.
