关于地图
Flers Map Poster & Print
Flers is a town in the Orne department of Normandy, set in the bocage, the old landscape of small fields divided by hedgerows. It grew through the nineteenth century as a textile centre, and its layout reflects that period of expansion. On a map, the town spreads over gentle ground, with the small River Vère running through it and roads heading out towards neighbouring towns.
Much of central Flers was destroyed during the fighting of 1944 and rebuilt in the years that followed. The postwar reconstruction gave the centre wider, more regular streets than many Norman towns of its size. At the edge of the centre, the Château de Flers stands in its park, surrounded by water, and the grounds form one of the clearest open spaces on the map.
A Flers map poster shows all of this in a single calm image: the rebuilt centre, the château grounds, the residential streets that loop outwards and the country lanes that disappear into the bocage. It works for anyone who grew up in the town or who knows it through family, and it reads clearly at every print size.

Reconstruction centre
Rebuilt after the destruction of 1944, the centre has a more orderly street pattern than the older lanes further out. It gives the heart of the map a clean, measured look.
Roads into the bocage
Several main roads leave Flers for other towns in the Orne and Calvados. Between them, small country lanes trace the hedged fields of the Norman bocage.

为什么选Flers
一张有意义的地图
Flers is the kind of town people carry with them after they move away: a home, a school, the château park on Sunday afternoons. A map poster keeps that geography close without becoming sentimental.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name or a meaningful year. Choose from five styles, including Noir for a dark wall and Paper for a softer tone. Printed posters on matte paper can come with an optional wooden frame.
