关于地图
Fredrikstad Map Poster & Print
Fredrikstad lies where the Glomma, Norway's longest river, reaches the Oslofjord, and the river dominates its map. It splits into branches here, creating islands and long waterfront edges, and the city spreads across both banks. A tall cable-stayed bridge, Fredrikstad bru, carries traffic over the main channel and appears on the map as a long straight crossing.
East of the modern centre is Gamlebyen, the old town, a fortified settlement with star-shaped ramparts and water-filled moats. It is often described as the best-preserved fortress town in Scandinavia. Inside the walls the streets form a small, regular grid, a sharp contrast to the angled bastions and the wide bends of the river outside.
A Fredrikstad map poster is one of the more graphic Norwegian city prints. The geometric outline of the fortress, the broad river with its islands and the coast opening toward the skerries give the design strong, clear shapes. Founded in 1567, the city has kept that old geometry intact beside its later growth.

Glomma estuary
Norway's longest river divides into several arms as it meets the sea, carving the city into banks and islands and giving the poster its dominant flowing lines.
Fredrikstad bru
The high bridge over the Glomma links the city centre to the western side, appearing as a long, direct crossing over the broad main channel.

为什么选Fredrikstad
一张有意义的地图
Fredrikstad has one of the most recognisable shapes of any Norwegian town, thanks to its fortress and river. For people who live there, studied there or spent summers on the coast nearby, the map is an immediate and personal image of the city.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with an address in Gamlebyen or a special date, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The files arrive as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs.
