关于地图
Fujieda Map Poster & Print
Fujieda lies in central Shizuoka, between the city of Shizuoka and the coast at Yaizu. Its historic core grew up as Fujieda-juku, one of the fifty-three stations on the Tōkaidō, the old highway between Edo and Kyoto. On the map, that route still shows as a long street through the old town, with houses drawn along it like beads on a thread and newer districts filling the plain to the south.
North of the centre the land rises into hills planted with green tea, one of the defining crops of Shizuoka Prefecture. Here the street pattern breaks into narrow valley roads and scattered hamlets. The Seto River runs down out of these hills and across the plain, and the JR Tōkaidō Line crosses the town on a straight alignment, giving the southern half its own station district.
A Fujieda map poster brings together two landscapes: the continuous line of the old highway town and the looser, branching roads of the tea country behind it. The contrast between flat, densely built blocks and the empty spaces of the hills gives the print a natural sense of depth, and it reads clearly even at the smaller print sizes.

Seto River
The river leaves the northern hills and crosses the plain, its channel and embankments forming a clear line through the otherwise closely built lowland districts.
Tea hill roads
In the north, roads follow narrow valleys between slopes of tea fields, producing thin, branching lines that contrast with the dense streets near the station.

为什么选Fujieda
一张有意义的地图
Fujieda suits anyone with ties to Shizuoka: a family home near the old post road, school years spent here, or memories of tea fields in early summer. The map turns that geography into a calm, precise image that fits a Japanese-style room or a modern flat alike.
Every poster can carry a personal title, a subtitle such as a date, and its own coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files or order a printed copy on matte paper.
