Gavà Map Poster & Print
Gavà reaches from high ground to the sea. Its older centre lies inland at the foot of the Garraf massif, with streets that follow the slope. Below it, newer districts spread across the flat delta land. At the coast, Gavà Mar lines a long, straight beach with low-rise streets and pine woods behind the dunes.
The town belongs to the Baix Llobregat area south-west of Barcelona, close to the city's airport. Gavà is also known for its prehistoric mines, where Neolithic people dug for the green mineral variscite. The site is now protected as an archaeological park.
A Gavà map poster brings three landscapes onto one sheet. There are hill contours and winding roads in the north, a denser town in the middle, and the clean edge of the Mediterranean in the south. Between them, delta fields and waterways show how the land flattens toward the sea.

North of the old town the ground rises into the Garraf massif. Winding roads and open slopes give this part of the print a looser, more organic texture.
