Road junction
The town grew around the roads that pass through it. Where they meet, the street network is at its densest and forms the natural centre of the map.

关于地图
Gīmbīcho Map Poster & Print
Gimbicho is a town in the Central Ethiopia Regional State, in the green, densely farmed highlands southwest of Addis Ababa. On a map, the town is a small, compact settlement. Its streets gather around the roads that pass through it, and all around is a countryside of small farm plots and scattered homesteads.
In this part of Ethiopia, rural settlement is dense and the land is intensively used. Around the town, footpaths and small roads connect many farmsteads, often surrounded by enset and other garden crops. The town itself works as a local meeting point for markets, services and travel.
A Gīmbīcho map poster shows a place defined by its connections: the roads in, the paths between the farms, and a small centre where they meet. The print has a soft, detailed texture that reflects a lived-in landscape rather than a large city grid.

Compact settlement
The built-up area is small and closely knit. It is easy to see the whole town at once, framed by the countryside around it.
Farmstead country
The surrounding land is covered with small farms linked by footpaths. On the map these form a fine, scattered pattern of lines and plots.
