The historic core
A dense tangle of short, angled streets around La Porxada and the central square. It stands out sharply against the more regular blocks that grew up around it.

关于地图
Granollers Map Poster & Print
Granollers is the capital of the Vallès Oriental comarca, about 30 km northeast of Barcelona. From above, its old core is a knot of narrow streets around the main square. Later districts spread out in blocks toward the Congost, the river that runs along the town's western side. Railway lines and main roads cut through the plain, and low wooded hills rise along the edges of the valley.
The town grew as a market centre, and its best-known structure shows it: La Porxada, a 16th-century open loggia on the Plaça de la Porxada, originally built to shelter the grain market. Granollers is also closely tied to handball. It was one of the venues for the handball tournament at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and its club is among the most established in Spain.
A Granollers map poster shows how a historic centre sits inside a working industrial town. The medieval streets are tight and irregular, the surrounding grid is looser, and the transport corridors and river give the whole plan firm edges. In black and white, those layers read clearly without extra decoration.

Congost river corridor
The Congost runs along the western edge of the town, a narrow green strip on the map that separates the centre from the industrial areas beyond.
Rail and road lines
Railways and main roads cross the Vallès plain in long, confident lines. They frame the town and tie it to Barcelona and the rest of the valley.

为什么选Granollers
一张有意义的地图
Granollers maps tend to go to people who grew up in the Vallès, played handball there or commuted to Barcelona from its station for years. The plan is compact enough to show the whole town at a readable scale, old streets included.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited for a street name, a club year or a move-in date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, download the $9 HD files, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
