Hakurōmachi lies in Aomori Prefecture, at the northern tip of Honshu, in the countryside of the Tohoku region. The land here is a mix of low hills, farmland and scattered woodland, and the settlement appears on the map as a cluster of streets set within a wider pattern of fields and rural roads.
