关于地图
Halaç Map Poster & Print
Halaç lies in Lebap Province in eastern Turkmenistan, in the valley of the Amu Darya between Türkmenabat and Kerki. From above, the landscape is organised by water. A narrow band of irrigated farmland follows the river, and canals and field boundaries create a fine geometric pattern. The town sits inside this green strip, and beyond it the land quickly turns dry.
The town has a simple, low-rise layout, with streets arranged in blocks and main roads running parallel to the valley. The surrounding area is mainly agricultural, and cotton and other crops depend on irrigation from the river. The main road and railway along the Amu Darya connect Halaç with the region's larger towns.
A Halaç map poster shows a settlement defined by the line between irrigated land and desert. The street grid, the canals and the long transport routes all run in the same direction as the river, giving the composition a clear, calm flow from one end to the other.

Irrigation patterns
Canals and field boundaries surround the town in a network of straight lines. They add a fine, textile-like texture to the poster.
Valley transport route
The main road and railway run along the valley, connecting Halaç with the rest of Lebap Province. They form long, steady lines across the map.
