关于地图
Hashtrūd Map Poster & Print
Hashtrūd is the centre of a county in the south of East Azerbaijan Province, in north-western Iran, on high ground south-east of Tabriz. Its name means eight rivers in Persian, a reference to the streams that flow across the district. The area is largely rural, and the town serves as a market and administrative centre for the surrounding villages and farms.
On a map, Hashtrūd appears as a compact town on open land, with a main road running through it and a denser pattern of streets on either side. Toward the edges, the streets thin out into fields, and seasonal watercourses trace irregular lines across the plateau. The landscape beyond is broad and lightly settled, which gives the town clear boundaries on the page.
A Hashtrūd map poster suits the character of the place: restrained, open and defined by a few strong lines. It makes a considered gift for people from the region living in Tabriz, Tehran or abroad, and for anyone who wants a quiet, graphic record of a town in the Azerbaijani highlands of Iran.

Eight rivers
The streams that gave the town its name cross the surrounding plateau as thin, winding lines, the most organic element of the composition.
Open plateau
Beyond the built-up area, broad farmland and hills leave generous empty space on the map, framing the town as a distinct, compact shape.
