关于地图
Idaga Hamus Map Poster & Print
Idaga Hamus is a town in the highlands of Tigray, northern Ethiopia, in plateau country of fields, dry watercourses and rocky hills. Its name refers to a Thursday market, a reminder that many towns in this region grew around weekly trading days. On a map it appears as a compact settlement strung along a main road.
The street pattern is simple. A principal road runs through the town and carries most of the linework, while short side streets and paths lead from it into residential compounds. Beyond the edge of town, the drawing opens into a sparse landscape where footpaths, seasonal streams and field boundaries are the only marks.
For a place of this size, the interest lies less in monuments than in the relationship between town and land. An Idaga Hamus map poster keeps that relationship clear: a dense line of buildings along the road, and around it the wide, quiet highland that frames daily life here.

Side streets
Short roads and lanes branch off the main axis into housing areas. Together they form a loose comb shape typical of highland roadside towns.
Plateau setting
Paths and watercourses lightly mark the highland terrain around the built area. In the lighter styles, this leaves generous white space.
