关于地图
Igurusi Map Poster & Print
Igurusi lies in the Mbeya region of southern Tanzania, on the Usangu plains below the southern highlands. The plains are one of the country's important farming areas, especially for irrigated rice. The town grew along the main highway that runs east from Mbeya toward central Tanzania.
On a map the highway is the town's backbone. Shops and houses cluster along it, and residential lanes branch off on either side. Past the edges of town the land flattens into fields and irrigation plots. The highlands rise far enough away that the immediate map stays open and level.
An Igurusi map poster shows a simple, legible form: one long road, a band of settlement along it and farmland around. It makes a personal, uncluttered print for people from Mbarali and Mbeya, and for anyone who has travelled that road across the southern highlands.

Usangu plains
Flat farmland spreads out around the town, and field boundaries and water channels give the surroundings a subtle, regular texture.
Rice country
The plains are known for irrigated rice growing, which explains the grids of small plots and channels beyond the built-up area.
