Old town core
Irregular streets around the church and its Mudéjar tower form a dense, uneven cluster, clearly different from the planned districts around it.

关于地图
Illescas Map Poster & Print
Illescas lies on the flat plain of La Sagra, roughly halfway between Madrid and Toledo, along the A-42 motorway. The map shows two very different parts. At the centre is the old town, with irregular streets around the parish church and its Mudéjar brick tower. Around it lie broad new residential districts and large industrial and logistics parks.
The town is known for the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, which holds a group of paintings by El Greco commissioned for the church, one of the few places where his work can still be seen in the setting it was made for. The Mudéjar tower of Santa María is the town's main landmark.
An Illescas map poster captures that mixture: a small historic core, straight new avenues and the large, simple shapes of warehouses and factories, including an Airbus plant. Around all of it, the open fields of La Sagra give the design a calm frame.

New districts
Recent housing estates spread out on straight avenues and regular blocks, showing how quickly the town has grown with the Madrid region.
Industrial parks
Large logistics and manufacturing sites along the motorway appear as big, simple rectangles, giving the edge of the map a strong geometric pattern.

为什么选Illescas
一张有意义的地图
Illescas suits families who have moved out from Madrid for more space, people who work in its industrial parks and anyone with long local roots. Its mix of old and new makes an interesting poster.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are yours to edit, perhaps with a name, a date or a line in Spanish. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the warm Castilian plain particularly well.
